ohohsee; I am allowing two characters to join this thread. So, um, feel free to join? xD And by the way, the post is very uglyy. D; Please excuse that.
backincharacter;
The day was gorgeous. The sun was shining brightly and it made the day feel amazing. She could feel the toasty sun beam down on her skin, making it bubble in warmth. She wore a purple dress that she had bought not too long ago at the mall of this wonderous town. Her strides were long as her legs moved swiftly, carrying her down the streets. A soft gust picked up and blew pass-by leaves around.
There were so many things about this town that made Lindsey just wonder. It wasn't just the fact that they had a haunted school. That was definitely freaky, but the town just had that eerie feeling that scared most tourists. Then again, it wasn't as if any of the residents here were expecting too many tourists. The legends of the school were already a tad scary, let alone the other mysteries about the town and the people who lived here as permanent residence.
Many times, Lindsey would find herself wander around the town, looking for somewhere to go, something to do. It obviously wasn't hard to become bored, yet it wasn't hard to amuse her either. Today, she found herself looking at the park, wondering what fun adventures she could find here. She scanned over the fun activities the younger kids would have enjoyed and decided on what she would be taking a crack at. She slowly made her way towards the playground, smirking just slightly at the giant tire swing that hung from ropes. She jumped on and pushed off with the tips of her toes, making the swing rock back and forth. The wind blew gently and it pushed her along, making the swing move faster. It wasn't as if this wasn't fun, but Lindsey felt only half filled. She wanted some more amusement, though she was hardly sure anyone would show up at the park, let alone the playground. She kept her hopes low for the moment, as if she didn't trust the town to fill her needs for entertainment.

OoC:// Don't even worry 'bout it, Babez. Mine's probably gonna look much worse xD BiC:// The sun was as beautiful as it ever had been before; it's rays shining with a vengeance upon Autumn's neck, and bleeding in through her red plaid jacket and tee-shirt. She sat cross-legged against on the dock, skipping stones into the silver pool of water before her. Her ragged jeans were warm -maybe even a bit hot- but she still remained out in the sunlight as she wished to be. Her beautiful blue eyes were transfixed on the silver surface of the lake as she tossed in another pebble. "Dear Prudence, come on out to play-y-y-y..." She sang to herself in a voice that could be recognized as that of an Angel's. "Dearrr Prudence, greet the brand new dayyy." Her eyes still glued to the lake. A swift gust of wind sent a pile of leaves next to her spiraling into the water like a tornado. She sighed deeply, taking in the beauty of the nature around her. Autumn had lived in France her entire life, and when she had come to America for some beter education, she had found that it was suprisingly easy to adapt to her new surroundings. This town was beautiful, and she loved being there. She hadn't made any friends yet, but she planned to. And she couldn't wait. Her eyes sparkled as the sun came out from behind the only thin wisp of a cloud in the entire sky. It's mystical rays shined upon the willows and great oak leaves with a greater force, casting a luminescent green light upon the woods below. A deer crouched below the great leaves, munching quietly on berries that were scattered around on the forest floor. Autumn watched in awe as it ate. It's magnificent coat shined with an intensity that made Autumn almost want to ask it what shampoo it used. Suddenly, a twig snapped in the forest, and the deer jerked it's head up in unison with Autumn's. She told the deer silently that it was only a squirrel or other animal, and to continue eating, but when Autumn turned her head back around, the deer had already disappeared behind a thicket of bramble in the security of the forest. With a sigh, Autumn stood up from her spot, and dumped the remains of her pebbles into the water all at a time. She dusted off her shirt, flinging a few specks of dust into the water, and striding off to the swings on the far-end of the park. OoC:// xD Told ya!
